SFI’s ambition is to guarantee the best environment for its researchers and to develop synergies between researchers and practitioners with the goal of ensuring the best orientation of the sponsored research. SFI’s research output is made available to SFI’s supporting community and interested parties through various publications.

Academic Publications

SFI strives for a top-ranking position among the research institutes of finance in Europe. The SFI Faculty’s research is recognized internationally due to the significant number of publications in top academic journals, i.e., those journals that historically have been first in promoting the ideas that have changed financial practices. Academic excellence is guaranteed by the SFI Scientific Council, an independent committee composed of internationally-renowned professors of banking and finance from around the world. The committee advises the SFI Foundation Board on all matters where scientific criteria predominate and plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the respect of academic freedom and scientific integrity.
